As Chetan suggested,

Thermodynamics Question:

Consider a closed room, with a electric refrigerator which maintains the food at -5 deg C, Assuming the closed room temperature is initially 23 deg C.

Now, If I leave the refrigerator door open, What will happen to the temperature of the room ?

a) Reduces from 23 deg C
b) Increases more than 23 deg C
c) Remains un-changed.

Theory:

The first law of thermodynamics can be stated as that Heat supplied into the system is equal to change in internal energy of the system plus the work of the system. refrigerators are cyclic systems.
