Thank you for your offer, but I cannot accept, for several reasons: because of the moderate use :), and because I found a workaround.
In the <script> tag at line
patch = new VVVV.Core.Patch("..."
between double quotes I've inserted an URL referring to the patch which is stored on another server - something like GDrive, Dropbox, etc.
This made the whole thing to work, but it feels to me like it is just a workaround and not a proper solution: the question is still up, I'd guess.
