Hello,

I've found that my hosting MIME map doesn't include .v4p extension as I get

HTTP Error 404.3 - Not Found
The page you are requesting cannot be served because of the extension configuration. If the page is a script, add a handler. If the file should be downloaded, add a MIME map.

(and as far as I can see, they probably won't allow it. At the moment, changing host is far from being a chance).
I think this is the only reason why page is correctly rendered through xampp and not when surfing.

Does it make any sense editing js code so that it calls for a xml doc instead of a patch? And which js files should be edited?

Thanks for your attention.

Hi
I can provide you with some space in my server if you want, with ssh access to your personal folder (for moderate use!!)

Thank you for your offer, but I cannot accept, for several reasons: because of the moderate use :), and because I found a workaround.

In the <script> tag at line

patch = new VVVV.Core.Patch("..."

between double quotes I've inserted an URL referring to the patch which is stored on another server - something like GDrive, Dropbox, etc.

This made the whole thing to work, but it feels to me like it is just a workaround and not a proper solution: the question is still up, I'd guess.

Thank you again, Simone!

Hi,

giving the files the extension .v4p.xml should work.

Best regards,
Matthias
