MIT or MCS

Which one is better? 

MIT or MCS? Particularly from VU. 

I have heard that MIT  of VU is not equivalent to Masters degree?  How far it is true?

In my opinion, MCS is better than MIT.

Reason.... both have same duration but there's difference of 9 CS books in MIT and MCS (that has some value). Secondly some of the organizations don't admit the equivalence of MCS and  MIT(I assessed from some job adds) .Even VU doesn't consider the equivalence of MCS and  MIT. 

I'm sharing an email shared by a student in which he asked about the equivalence of MIT and MCS from VU Admins.

Subject:  ISSUE ABOUT  EQUIVALENCE OF MIT AND MCS / M.Sc (IT) DEGREE

Recently,i passed my MIT degree from Virtual University of Pakistan,i want to apply for the post of SSE SECONDARY SCHOOL EDUCATOR (COMPUTER SCIENCE) in SCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT Government of Punjab


Job Description : The candidate must be M.Sc. (Computer Science ) Mcs /M.Sc. (IT) BCS with 4 years course 2nd Div.)

one thing i want to clear here that MIT is equal to M.Sc (IT) or not and i apply for this post without equivalence certificate from HEC

or equivalence certificate is necessary to apply for this post.

plz guide it and what i should do next to apply,if possible provide a HEC instruction about this ...

Its mean there is no worth or scope of MIT Degree.

Both are Master Degree but equalant to each other.

 

Comparitively MIT is easy from MCS bcoz MCS have more subjects in the form of 

 

Programming Languages

Mathimatical Work

Algorithmic Work

 

which need tough consideration rather then MIT, that's y MCS has more Value then MIT.

 

In many discipline of Job in private and public sector a MCS degree holder is preferred then MIT.

no doubt, MCS is a better degree then MIT with regard to computer and IT.
Because MCS has more vital subjects then MIT.
In the MCS more emphasis has been given in the prescribed VU course.

In my views MCS is better compare to MIT.
