How to access VU Email account via outlook express

Please someone help to setup outlook express to access the vu Eamil account.

I wanted  access my vu email account via outlook express for that I need  the entries for 

smtp server and pop server.

I Got it. here are the entries

POP server = pop.gmail.com

SMTP server = SMTP.gmail.com

My server required authentication must be checked

Account Name = your full Email address (Vu account)

for port setting see the image

Salam Dear
i have also VU account in my OUTlook
the method of configuaration is given below with steps,

First Step:
Tools ==> Email Accounts (after it, the windows of email accounts will pop up)

Step 2:
Here Click a new email account and click Next

Step 3:
Click the POP3 and next

Step 4:

Your Name == (here is the Display Name)
Email Address == (Vu Email Address) Like mc090...@vu.edu.pk
User Name == (Vu Email Address) Like mc090...@vu.edu.pk
Password == VU's Password
Incoming Mail Server (POP3) = pop.gmail.com
OutGoing main server (SMTP) = smtp.gmail.com


Step 5:
now click the more setting

the window of Internet Email Setting will be popup

Click The "General"
In the main account == Any Name (Like VU)

Click "Outgoing Server" Tab
check the "my outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"

click the "Advance" Tab
Check the Incoming server and give the value in the textbox is 995
check the outgoing server and give the value in the text box is 465

and click OK

now click the "Test Account Setting" button for checking purpose


your VU account is now configure in OUTLOOK
