What is Difference Between Effective CGPA and CGPA?? Also tell me keh
ager Effective CGPA 2.3 se above ho to degree mill sakti
hie............. jabkay cgpa 2.24 hoooooooooooo...................

In CGPA the subjects having "F" Grades are included and in Effective  CGPA  the subjects having  "F" grades are not included.

Aniqa mera effective cgpa 2.34 hie aur mera cgpa 2.24 hie aur main
abi 4 subjects k papers dyie hien so kindly tell me ager main apna
cgpa imprve ni kar pata to kia effective ke buniad pe mje degree mill

According to my knowledge Degree is issued on basis of CGPA not on the basis of Effective CGPA. It's better to email to  Degree...@vu.edu.pk  to get confirmed info .

In Effective CGPA, GPAs of F graded subjects  have been not added. In CGPA, F graded subjects' GPAs have been added.

For example: 

You've four subjects

Sub                  GPA           Grade

CS101                3.15            B

MGT101            0.95           F

MGT301            1.43           D

MGT501            0.76           F

To calculate CGPA:

Add GPAs of all subjects=3.15+0.95+1.43+0.76=6.29

Divide with no of subjects=6.29/4 =1.57

To calculate Effective CGPA:

Add GPAs of all subjects=3.15+1.43=4.58

Divide with no of subjects=4.58/2 =2.29
