Hi,
it would be really nice to detect dependencies of projects automatically.
Maybe vulcan could read the pom.xml, and make the relations.

What do you think?

Thanks!
Juan

Hi Juan,

If you use the import feature (http://code.google.com/p/vulcan/wiki/ImportProject), Vulcan will configure the newly created project(s) with proper dependencies.  However, there is no way to do this after the projects have already been created in Vulcan.  The best work around would be to delete the projects from Vulcan, then import them again.

Hope that helps,

Chris

Yes, but the problem is that i can't import my project, because i have my parent pom in flat structure.
A few moths ago, you told me a workaround, defining the SVN at trunk and then, in Maven, pom in parent/pom.xml

Is there a new version of vulcan with that feature?

Juan,

See http://code.google.com/p/vulcan/issues/detail?id=124 (Issue 124).  The problem is likely fixed in the snapshot, but I haven't tested it thoroughly.  As mentioned in that bug, upgrading to the snapshot version will convert the persistence layer for Vulcan, so make a backup of your vulcan home directory first.

Good luck,
