I am selling my 2002 black Drifter 800 that I bought new at Xtreme in
Freeport, NY. There are about 12,500 miles on it. It is in
mechanically perfect condition, and super clean. It has been
maintained religiously, oil and filter every 3000 miles maximum. Anti-
freeze changed, and brakes bled every other year. I would not
hesitate to take this bike cross-country.

The bike has its original rubber in excellent condition with lots of
tread. It also has Progressive Suspension springs which go a long way
in improving the ride and handling of the bike. The bike has a custom
made-by-me exhaust system on it that makes the bike sound like it's
supposed to sound. It has exhaust baffles and is not ear-splitting,
and the carb is properly jetted. It also has a tan leather Indian
saddle that is spring mounted. The bike also has a Cobra Freeway bar,
and low-rise superbike handlebars.

There is a scuff mark on the left sidecover, and a couple of small
scratches in the tape stripes on the front fender. The superbike bar
is aftermarket and the chrome has not held up as well as the rest of
the bike, but it is still in nice condition. The left side of the
chrome rear fender guard is nicked from the saddlebag bracket on that
side.

For the $4500 asking price, the buyer will get the bike with your
choice of one of three seats: the black stock single seat, a Kawasaki
studded tan dual seat, or the Indian saddle, either the stock or
superbike handlebars installed, and either the currently installed
custom exhaust or a new-condition stock one. Once I get a deposit, I
will put on whatever combination the buyer wants.

In addition, I have other stuff for this bike, including:

• an excellent condition, made-special-for-the-Drifter ‘egg’-shaped
windshield and hardware
• a complete exhaust system in excellent-to-new condition, and
mounting hardware
• an excellent condition set of aftermarket tan Indian-style leather
saddlebags that match the Indian saddle, right down to the stitching.
The bags were made by Dave at Osprey Leather.
• attached to the bags are a set of Metric Cruiser Adaptations quick
release saddlebag mounts that I had custom made
• Fitted nylon saddle bag liners with zippers and carry handles
• A total of three sets of handlebars – stock pullback, low rise
superbike (currently on the bike), and 12” apehangers.

If you want all this stuff with the bike, I would let it all go for
about $5200. You’d have all kinds of stuff to experiment with.

Thanks for looking.
