Unistall the exsiting System Centre Console and Symantec Antivirus Server.
Restart the system and Check IE 6 is updated.
Install the Symantec Antivirus Server.
Install the System Centre Console.
Configure the Console for Liveupdate, Administrator Scans, Logs etc..
Run live update on the server.

Steps to follow for SAV Client installation:

Unistall the exsiting Symantec Antivirus Client (as upgradation is not supported).
Delete the Contents from location:
c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\symantec\symantec antivirus corporate edition\7.5
Restart the system and Check IE 6 is updated.
Access the SAV server through UNC path ie., \\ipaddress\vphome\Clt-inst and run the setup.

If the systems are in domain you can push the installation through Client Remote Installation.

For SEP 11 installation you need to upgrade the license and you can download the software.
Please let me know if you want the SEP 11 installation and configuration snapshots I can upload the same.

This type of exploit works to circumvent one of the virus detection engines to avoid a specific type of virus protection. One of the antivirus engines depends on a signature pattern from a database to identify malicious files and viruses; the antivirus bypass exploit looks to alter the file being scanned so it is not detected.

"Get-Package 'symantec endpoint protection' uninstall-package" - This is my main command I've been working with. I have also tried the longer Broadcom provided string, but it also fails with the same. I just can't imagine what could be stopping this. There is nothing on the client or policy side that would do this. No password, no tamper protection, SMC services stopped...yet, it's still 1602?

we have delta v 13.1 installed on windows 7 workstation, and there was a Symantec endpoint protection 12 installed. as the support for the 12.1 SEP antivirus ends with the current version, we want to install the newer version of Symantec end point protection 14.3. However our win 7 not updated and the new antivirus require to install SHA-2 CODE SIGNING SUPPORT UPDATE (KB4474419). my question as below:
