Fail in viva effects on cgpa?

Dear All

muje ye jan'na hai k agr koi viva me fail hota hai to kya uska cgpa decrease ho jata hai?
I mean fini619 agr hm pass krty hain to kya hmare cgpa increase krta hai?
or agr fail hoty hain to cgpa decrease hota hai?

NO.. there is no any kind of effect on CGPA whether your FIN619 passed or Failed. Your CGPA will remain fix after passing you internship report subject.

Also according to my information, result of presentation and viva doesn't increase or decrease the cgpa. But the status of presentation or viva will be visible in gradebook.

YES Degree is incomplete without this viva, but if some body is thinking that he will improve his 2.2 CGPA to 2.3 by giving Extra ordinary performance in the viva , it cant be.

Its not a big issue, m sure that it will not affect CGPA, but compulsory to pass to get degree. If u r still not sure then post message on MDB in your LMS, u will get the reply
