Conversion / Study Program Change towards MBA (3½ year/ 96 Cr. Hrs.)

All existing and previous VU MBA students/graduates are allowed to continue/ to take admission towards MBA (3½ year). Interested students should submit their Application along with Bank draft/pay order for the change of degree program/ continuation to Registrar’s Office (studyprog...@vu.edu.pk), Virtual University of Pakistan M.A Jinnah Campus, Defence Road off Raiwind Road, Lahore on or before March 15, 2011.   Existing MBA students will be required to complete their MBA scheme of studies (minimum 4-semester, 2-year, 72 credit hours) and the following remaining courses (minimum 3-semester, 24 credit hours) with at least CGPA 2.30 for the award of MBA (7-semester, 96 credit hours).   However, MBA Graduates of the university will be required to complete the following remaining courses (minimum 3-semester, 24 credit hours) with at least CGPA 2.30 for the award of MBA (7-semester, 96 credit hours) & liable to return already issued transcript/and degree. Moreover such students are not eligible to improve previous D grade course(s) if any.     Tuition fee and other university dues will be charged as per MBA (3½ year/ 96 credit hours) program (Detailed as under).     Semester wise courses detail is as under:    Semester No. 5     Course  code & Title   Cr. Hrs.   MGT211: Introduction To Business 3   MCM301: Communication skills 3   STA301: Statistics and Probability 3         Semester No. 6     ACC501: Business Finance 3   MGT401: Financial Accounting II 3   MGT610: Business Ethics 3         Semester No. 7     MGT601: SME Management 3   MGMT629: Crisis Management (for Management Specialization) OR MGT510: Total Quality Management (for all others)                                                             3     3         FEE STRUCTURE:   Details Graduate Students Existing MBA students Security Fee 5000 Nil Admission Fee 3500 3500 Remaining Registration Fee 1000 1000 Fee Payable at admission* 9500 4500 Note: After admission, Accounts Department will issue fee voucher showing Semester enrolment fee Rs. 1000 and Rs. 750/- per credit hour fee. *Bank draft/pay order in favour of ‘Virtual University of Pakistan’ is acceptable
