I have also experienced in this regard. I have heard many comments on VU like
1.Its degree is not valid because it is not accepted by the
Multinational and good reputation firms.
2.It`s degree is treated less than that of any third class university.
When I tried to get a job ,first the employers asked from me the university, then any reference and said "we `ll call you with in three weeks.
``I could not get the job in-spite of my so much good interview.
But the students ,it does not the matter to lose heart ,we should polish our learning skills and we have to make our personality so much attractive for any job and should make our confidence so high that when we go for interview ,we impress others by our personality
,learning skills and experience.
The foremost and chief thing that is highly concerned to get a job is our experience and our achievements. That is only the final way to get a good job that we should learn in small blocks to achieve our high goal along with the firm belief on GOD.

paar ker de ge. aur aj kal job k liye interviews liye jate hain.
degree is key to enter in the interviewer;s room aur agar ap enter ho
gae to bethne ki jaga khod bana sakte ho. apki personality ap ka
behivour aur apki hazar jawabi count kerti hi. aur mi smjhta hoon k VU
students ka IQ level LUM PU BZU sb k students se zayada hi hum
computer ki raftar se answer daite hian hamara system hi aisa hi. aur
baki students dependent hain professors k aur class fellows k. hum
self motivated log hain. hum mein decison power on students se zayada
hi. mera ik cousin LUMS mein parhta hi, lahore mein rehta hi, shuru
se he achi institutions mein parha hi. dekhne mein professors se kam
ni hi. ik bar gaon mein shadi per aya aur mere se mulaqat ho gai. wo b
Business ka studenrt hi. Gapshp mein bahes chal pari, i asked him just
one question and he silent. my question was. How a company can
decrease its income tax ?
On logoon ki tarah behave na kero jin pe bari institutions k sticker
lage hue hain. In ko compete kero aur apni value banao. koi bhi
university job dilane ka zima ni laiti. ye apni luck aur apne talent
ki bat hi.
Best of Luck for all of you. I always say that VU stands for Valued
University. Dont post any negative comments about VU as your comments
matter to set opinion. aur negative opinion hmare liye he noqsan deh
hi kisi aur k liye ni . quite ker lo VU se thats better for you if you
are not satisfied. But I suggest to be happy on your luck that you

m not completed my MBA yet.. bt I Am Done with my MCS...
During interview in State Bank,,,there was a panol of interviewers, they asked... we need MBA degree holders, I told them that i have MCS degree from Gomal University & my MBA is in progress from VU.
They asked abt VU, I told them everything that how VU deliver lectures, quizes, assignments, GDBs, MDBs, Papers etc...
that time i was in 1st semester. Papers were finished.
Then they asked me some accounting questions... and believe me guys They were very impressed by my concepts.... its not that m special... its the VU standard that Now m in SBP.
So never ever blame Ur unversity.... Have Faith in Allah, coz He is Creator and U will get what He wants.... So now plz concentrate on studies, Dont get into these sort of discussions coz its a waste of time.

This is wrong concept that vu degree holder cant get job. My Friend who did MBA from vu in 2007-08 with 3.4 CGPA is best example for me........ He first time applied for the lecturership in BZU( Bahaudin Zakrya University Multan) and appointed as lecturer in main campus.....After 6 Months then he applied in PIA( Pakistan international Airline) there he was appointed at 18 grade officer.........Then he applied in state bank and there he appointed and now he is doing job in state bank at big post.........Every time he applied he got job in ist attempt
So i dont beleive that vu degree holder cannot get job

grade. is the syllabus is not up to the slandered or there is some
other reason. I personally feel that students of V.U are defaming the
university by public-ally spreading that degree is essay here. we can
share assignment easily. No need to worry you can get assignment from
anybody very easily. all students are not preparing their assignments
by themselves. when they will prepare by them self then they will feel
degree is not easy.
this sharing of assignment is defaming the university. people know
students of V.U do not work hard but get assignments through net.

because you got admission in VU without entry test there for value of VU is not in your mind, second factor involve that you pay low fees, that's why you think that low fees means low stander, third factor is that it is your own choice that you go campus or not,

You know that, This latest technology first time in our poor country, that's why VU give u admission without entry test, This is HEC recognized university, and its chancellor always is president because it's international university. i meet many of VU's degree holders who have good job and satisfied,
I also meet with IBA, LUMS, PU students who are unemployed, because of their skills,
My dear friends if you see in Panjab assembly and National assembly many MPA's MNA's have illegal degree of PU, which we read in newspaper every day, and they have good job in Pubjab and National assembly,
Any of my friend think that he/she is rejected from jobs because of VU, if you have telnet you should ask the HR manager, to give you in written that "VU Degree is not accepted in our company". then see magic what happen
in case of any HR manager give you in written then you send copy of this letter to: VU, HEC, Mnisitery of Education, and then see the magic, how this company is go down,
There is no value of degree, alway there is value of your skilled mind, if you can serve better for job issuer company, then it is also possible that, if you have no degree also then you can get job,
Dr. Mukhtar (Principle of Marketing, HRM instructor said) don't go to get number CGPA, etc, just understand concept that what professors teach you,

I am web designer but i have no degree from any recognized college, institue or university, but when apply on rozee,pk in any company who required web/graphics designers, alhamdulillah, i receive many call in a day, they don't ask me about degree, they always see my experience, and skills,

You are right Sohail. I personally know a guy who done their MBA Marketing with SZABIST but their concepts are not clear. Even he does not know Break Even Analysis, Forecasting, Product Management, etc My company fired him after six months.
So don’t compare university, compare ability.

I do not think so that a man studies just for getting job........My opinion is one must get knowledge from vu or any other university and if he or she is not satisfied with job then he or she must start own business........
Do not depend on job think and come up with an idea of your own business.....
