Location: Redwood City

Must Haves:

2-5 years’ experience as a build & release engineer
Experience with GIT and SVN
Experience with Bamboo or Jenkins
Ability to edit scripts in Perl, Python or Shell
Experience with Linux Administration, including installing and configuring web apps
Understanding of the full SDLC
Experience with the Atlassian tool set (Stash, JIRA, Bamboo, Confluence)
Experience with Make or Maven build tools

Day-2-Day *

Insight Global is looking for an excellent build and release engineer to sit on-site at a well-known security application company in Redwood Shores, CA. You will be working with a team of build and release engineers, taking tickets from JIRA and performing initial triage as well as resolution. On a day to day basis, you will be resolving different types of tickets, including setting up build machines, debugging issues in LDAP, and Linux administration. You will be expected to understand the relationship between GIT and SVN and helping support the migration between the two. You will be installing and configuring web applications on Linux and Apache servers. You will also be expected to use Bamboo or Jenkins, automate and edit scripts in Perl, Python, or Shell, and utilize build tools such as Maven and Make.
