The lake Morey Trail is in pretty decent shape, freshly brushed this morning, showing wear from thousands of blades over the weekend, stay vigilant for cracks, and  remember to thank any plow guys you see for the treasure we have in Vermont..

I have not been to Mascoma since early last week, but I doubt conditions are suitable for skating. We got roughly 10 inches of wet snow last Friday, a little more on Wednesday and the trails have not been cleared since then. Mascoma Lake Skating Assocation posted two days ago that the property management group they work with was attempting to get a blower attachment for their tractor to deal with the very heavy snow and that they will update if they are able to get things cleared. With the rapidly warming temps over the next two days, I'd check back in on their Facebook page on Sunday or Monday as the ice will be too soft to skate even if it was cleared.

The trail is not skateable. It was snowblower last night but there is too much water and slush so it may not recover.
