Ice Self Rescue Videos

Ice Colleagues,

I just posted three new videos on my YouTube channel that you might find useful and I include links to them below.  All were shot during our self rescue demonstration in Saranac Lake on March 9.  Special thanks go to Rob O'Brien who drove over from Vermont with his family to act as my on ice safety person and fellow plurrist, to Trevor Fravor and Colleen O'Neil for also taking the plunge, to Jenn and Brian Grisi for their videography.  Also, thanks to Brendan Keough, SLVFD Chief who participated and really supported and added a lot to the session.  Finally, thanks to John Rosenthal for the plank to span the moat (a very fine plank indeed) and all the folks that came out and stood through the gale force winds that day to watch people willingly jump into freezing water.  Enjoy!

Thank you!  So useful. I will post and send around.   We are hoping to set up our own local trainings next winter, had a lot of rescues (not of skaters, though) this winter in Minnesota.
