Sk802 news: Piloting a Signal Group for Burlington skating

Hello Ice Colleagues - 

It was great meeting many of you on the ice and/or at the season opener social last week.

As mentioned at the event, we plan to pilot a Signal group for the locals in the Burlington area (roughly 1 hour radius from downtown Burlington) to coordinate skating meet-ups. (We want to eliminate 5+ different text threads the night before a skate). If you're interested in piloting this, please reach out to receive an invite. Ideal candidates would be if you've already met one of the organizers (Kitty, Rob, or me).

One of the out-of-state folks I met on Sunday commented on how I've got it made being a newbie in this active, supportive, and ever-more-connected community.  I can already see that is true. Three cheers for our organizers, as well as for the veterans who have spent so many years sharing their knowledge.

Chi, a question:  If we sign up to adopt a body of water, how often are we expected to report out?  I would love to pitch in as a scout, but want to be sure I can meet expectations.
