Apple Island 1/22/26 - post-squall

I think it is worth a report to mention that we were at Apple Island this afternoon, arriving just after the 2 pm snow squall. The great news is that the fierce wind almost immediately scoured the snow and made skatable lanes and smooth ice. We did not skate far, but I think that tomorrow could be good before the nasty drop in temps and massive snow storm that come in over the weekend.
