Lake Morey - Hockey and Wind

Lake Morey held a hockey event of some kind so the loop was full of teams and definitely had some significant wear by 2:30pm. Ice had various bumps but skating was pleasant and even the new skater with us only tripped a few times.

The NW wind was a bit tough at these temps but we all persevered. We also got to see a pair of small planes land and take off.

It was so fun to see people trying out nordic skates, kick sparks and everything else in the sun and cold.
