Ticklenaked Pond

Skated tickle naked pond in ryegate Vermont today, textured gray ice throughout pond, a bit bumpier on South and, a bit smoother on West side. Darker gray area in front of blue cabin by the launch site is slightly thinner than the rest, could not poke through anywhere, except for that area in front of the blue cabin..Scouted nearby Symes pond, could not poke through anywhere near the launch site, however I would not recommend this pond as the road in was very icy and rutted and not sanded or plowed this afternoon. Halls pond in West Newbury Vermont should be good to go tomorrow
