Willoughby was spectacular yesterday,.especially the return trip north. Southerly headwinds were intense on the way out. We were joined by folks from Hanover and Plainfield NH and a new skater from Montreal. South end was frozen but not safe to skate ( only about 1 1/2"). As the day warmed up the lake was really noisy!

Hard to say with  the warm weather the next few days and snow on and off through Saturday. Sunday might be nice if the wind blows the snow off throught the week. It might be sticky snow given the temps which could kill it for skating.
