Hi Guys.  We are trying to recreate at least some of your trip from early feb.  on LG.

Where can we get in from along VT (or NY if necessary)?  We want to be up in the narrows
and hopefully getting to Rogers Rock.

Thanks, Martha

Launched from Ticonderoga Park Beach, called Black point Beach on Google maps. Very nice. Worth the trip from Norwich Vermont. We've gone 4 MI South so far against a mild wind, hugging the East shore. Ice is 7 to 8. Some open leads, nothing major.

Excellent outing. 22 mi from me, 25 for Martha. The ice didn't get soft at all, the temperature was 38, but only a little Sun toward the end. A couple of pressure ridges, nothing dicy. Here's the track.
