I was there on Sun 12/7. At that time it was good gray ice skating. Ice thickness was approx. 4 inches at the one ice fishing hole I checked. 

By following a channel through the reeds it was possible to skate north towards the 91 bridge and southeast towards Rt 5 bridge.  

I have not been back and have no information on current conditions.
