Lake Morey skate trail update for today and beyond

The Town of Fairlee, which has taken over maintenance of the Lake Morey skating trail, now has a webpage devoted to updates.

For today they have asked people to stay off the trail due to warming temperatures, and state it will "re-open" tomorrow.

The town is forward-looking and on a fast track learning about the skate trail and skating community. They are coordinating with Mark Avery, owner of Lake Morey Resort, who continues to volunteer his time & energy to plow the trail.  They are figuring out how to provide updates, have noted parking needs,  and are open to input.  Be sure to express your appreciation when you engage with the town of Fairlee and when you see Mark on the ice!
