Inland Sea conditions Sunday Jan 4?

Hi there, has anyone been out on the ice from the Apple Island marina boat ramp this morning? I'm wondering how much snow fell last night, and if it's worth the drive up from Bristol. Not looking for a super long skate, maybe just a couple of miles north and back. Thanks!

I was on the inland sea yesterday, and it had a very light layer of snow on it, perhaps 1/8".   It did not impact the skateability of the ice.   I'm in Shelburne, and we received just a tiny dusting overnight.   Its possible that the Inland Sea received more, but I don't think so, I'd expect just a slight addition to what was there yesterday, still less than 1/4".   I'm headed back up.

Great scene and great ice heading out of Appletree and all the way across to Sandbar State Park Beach. (and heading further North)

Several DN’s showed up from all over the east coast and went to that side to set up a race course. 

All varieties of skaters and other outdoor enthusiasts out there gettin’ their groove on!
