The Morey ice trail is wider than I have ever seen it, I would say 35 to 40 ft wide all the way around,. Varying textures of gray ice, a few wet cracks, and a few bumpy areas. Nothing horrible or even bad. As I was leaving a bus from the hopkinton school district arrived with a bunch of teenagers to have a fun day. I bet the Zamboni effect of the rain that's coming in will do nothing but good things for this trail. The many hockey skates out there today, even at 28° early this morning we're leaving tracks.
