Scouting!

It really was a beautiful day to skate with friends. That said, There was lots of open water and just skimmed over places. They can be very deceptive.  There were more than a few times when we joked, “water to the left and water to the right”. 

The inland Sea is much “safer”, it’s a huge area with fewer apparent hazards and many miles of scouted and skated ice. 

That said, jeez, there is just so much good ice out there.  Where the heck have all the scouts been this past week?!

Also, it seems that none of my posts and pictures have not been going through this season. I hope this one does.
