To add a few more details. The best route out is to the N and E side of the inlet. Still a few tenths of a mile of double poling but then there are some tire tracks and other things to follow.
Inner bay is uniform haas avocado mixed with little divots in places. Fun to be gliding effortlessly as the sun headed down in the sky.
Outer bay pressure ridges were easy to cross and the ice seemed to have been pushed in by west? and south winds. TBD when wind shifts to south and quite strong.
