Based on a post from this morning I headed to Mallet’s Bay for a lunch skate- hoping to duplicate that route.
1/2 out the sky darkened and the light snowflakes turned to a rager! Whiteout! Stood there for a moment and decided to pull out my phone and turn in the compass to head South (my best guess from where I was.
I’m glad I didn’t go around Coates or I might have had an eventful schlog back.
Anyways the Bay is now covers in 1-1/2” of sticky snow. It slows down the blades!

Wow, glad it wasn't too bad for you - what an experience! Really appreciate you posting this to the list.
I heard from someone in the northeast kingdom that they got 3 inches of snow in a 30 minute squall.
Where else are people seeing snow?
