Moore - 2nd hand info before the rain/snow/freeze

Someone (avid hockey and pond skater) I know drove by Moore Reservoir yesterday afternoon and said this:

Hey sorry forgot to get a shot but it actually seemed decent 

A few small open water sections near shore but otherwise thin snow coverage and some nice looking ice 

Joes pond in West Danville was looking glassy as well!

Anyone on this list serv have more info? TBD what happens with different precipitation and freeze up this weekend, but I am continuing to be optimistic of skating, even in April.
