Burlington broad lake access

A couple of addenda…

A friend, who works for DPW, shared this on downtown access:

The closest vehicular access on the South would be Lake Street extension in the parking next to the Lake Champlain Community Sailing Center.  The closest access from the north would be North Beach and you could talk to Parks and Recreation as to whether they would accommodate parking at the campground or further down towards the beach.

These photos are taken from the end of Wright Ave. in the south end (there are stairs down to the beach and street parking). It looks like a bit of a hike through rubble but then a potentially nice plate and possibility of threading into some other good stuff.

Haven’t been out on this. And pay attention to the wind, bring friends, all the gear etc.
