Mascoma Lake Update

Good morning,

We were quite busy yesterday and our wonderful plow folks were able make nearly 10 miles of plowed trails on Mascoma. 6 miles on the south side and close to 4 on the north side. This is the most extensive network we have ever had and the best ice in 5 years. There are the expected cracks and bumps but also miles of nice and smooth grey ice. It will be quite cold this weekend, but this is an excellent option as almost all of our local wild skating has been shut down. A foot of snow coming Sunday night, so enjoy this while you can. I have attached my track of the somewhat whimsical trails full of lots of little loops.
