Big fish story and parking at Lake Morey (Fairlee, VT)

This 41" northern pike was brought up by an ice fisherman during our skate at Morey this afternoon.  So big it wasn't clear for a bit if he was going to be able to get it up and out.  

Parking may be tight at Lake Morey in Fairlee, VT, tomorrow, given the big hockey tournament.  Skaters are now sent to the Town Beach to access the lake, rather than through the grounds of the resort.  With dozens of teams along with families and friends, they may allow access through the resort grounds for this weekend but the parking is likely to be competitive.  Similarly, the Town Beach lot a short distance beyond the resort may be full; if so, there may be parking on some side streets but if not, there is an overflow parking lot before you get to the resort.  When coming from the highway, it is a large lot on the right just where you would turn left to go to the resort entrance.
