Lake Fairlee, VT

Circumnavigated the whole lake late afternoon Thursday.  Some coves on the west side and areas along the shore fairly smooth otherwise largely bumpy or moderate orange peel.  The usual pressure ridge wider than usual but easily crossed on the far end.  Machine tracks and footprints greatly softened but still there as modest but frequent bumps,  less so on the far coves and far side.  Caution accessing because removal of ice shanties has broken up the area along the shore near the fish and wildlife launch. Usual hazards of inlets and outlets, otherwise very thick.  Two pics:  just off the launch where it is usually the bumpiest, and the pressure ridge.

Skated Woodward Reservoir in Plymouth VT this morning. (South Central VT, 20 minutes south of Killington).

Very similar to what Dr Jo found on Fairlee ystdy but closer to Rutland. Nice brisk morning. NO obstacles to speak of.
