Very nice sunset skate on Miller Pond today at 36 f. degrees.

Variety of surfaces, generally plenty of nice ice.  Some very smooth large areas, both black and white ice.  Some lightly textured in both colors.  Some orange peel in both colors.  Bit of bumpy on some edges esp on side with only house.  At least 4" where I tested including center, except some edges and near inlet.  

Majority of drain holes resurfaced fully BUT CAUTION there were a few with just skim.  They were very visible.  In the north section, a few just-barely-skimmed holes.  Should be fine by Friday but be careful tomorrow. 

An enjoyable neighborhood outing.
