Lake Morey for another few hours

Continues to be excellent.  Scattered, soft snow drifts on most of the lake, many smooth black lanes in the center ( well past the large open water , which is bigger now) and smooth clear plates right in front of the resort.  Crossing the pressure ridge not difficult to find a good spot.  Only hazard we found besides the very obvious large open water to which one should give a very wide berth, was a open hole in a seemingly random area, maybe ten feet diameter, pretty easy to see the darker water with today's flat light.
