Hi Skating Community -

I hope you all got the skating in before the snow! Since this coming Friday will be yucky for the majority of winter sports, we thought we could squeeze in a mid-season social. Since many of us are used to minimal planning, we hope this late notice (details below) would be acceptable to most. We would like to give a rough headcount to our friends at Citizen Cider by Thursday.

Join us at Citizen Cider in Burlington, VT to socialize with people in the Burlington area who are interested in skating on wild ice this year. Kids welcome! Food and drinks for purchase at the venue.

Suggested schedule (may change depending on the RSVP poll)

• 5-6 Social time
• 6-7 Gear show and tell and skate sharpening demo
• 7-8 Social time

Just a quick update that we have about twenty folks joining us tomorrow evening at Citizen Cider. While this is more of an impromptu gathering, it's a solid crew coming out on a Friday night! And, while this timing doesn't work for everyone, we figured that more frequent opportunities to gather outweigh some last minute planning.
