They're off and running!

Via the Champlain Marina webcam, I saw Phyl and Diana take off from the fishing access at about 9:15.  A couple of others followed.  Ice looks good.  Very light dusting of snow.  

Now I see them all heading west toward Marble Island.  This all very exciting.  Better than Netflix!  :-)

A report from south of most of you all; Ystdy the NW wind blew the prior night's rain towards the south shore of Chittenden Reservoir (Chittenden, VT near Rutland) and it was too deep to get on the ice. This morning it was all solid. The views up to Pico and Killington were fabulous. The ice fishermen said 10" which seemed about right. Peter Kelley

Wow, a Chittenden report - very exciting!  And a Silver Lake report from Barnard.   Welcome new reporters and *thanks!*

This list lives by reports, from as many people as possible, and sent as quickly as possible after skating (and even during  :).   And reports that say conditions aren't good and why, are as valuable as the ones saying they are. 

Anything you send is better than nothing.  The more details the better, attaching photos is better still.  But the bottom line is, any and all reports are the only way anyone benefits from this list.  If you're benefiting, please contribute also.
