slow and fairly bumpy ride with lots of double poling. Open water between Turtle and Tongue for some reason, same between 14 mile island and Shelving rock, that one from ice eaters. But summited Gull Rock, lunched on Big Burnt, spotted cairns of Hope—all good!😎

Launched from Ticonderoga Park Beach, called Black point Beach on Google maps. Very nice. Worth the trip from Norwich Vermont. We've gone 4 MI South so far against a mild wind, hugging the East shore. Ice is 7 to 8. Some open leads, nothing major.

Hi Guys.  We are trying to recreate at least some of your trip from early feb.  on LG.

Where can we get in from along VT (or NY if necessary)?  We want to be up in the narrows
and hopefully getting to Rogers Rock.

Thanks, Martha
