We accessed from the View of the Fort Restaurant on Rte 23. From Ft Ticonderoga across to VT shore & as far south as the eye can see, is a single uninterrupted smooth sheet of ice. We measured it at 1 inch. Same ice seems to go through Dresden all the way to & including South Bay, where we again measured 1 inch. It seems to be entirely uniformly smooth & hard. Just needs another night or 2.- Monday?!
