GLQ's

Having just checked the internets for the first time in almost 2
weeks, there has been some discussion on this year's GLQ's

Looking like one in Chicago on June 5th, and one in Milwaukee on June
12th (though that date may change)

Having been part of the three that drove to Madison, it was an awesome
time. Even with the 7 hour drive with the windows stuck up and the
heater stuck on!

Milwaukee is 8 hours, and Chicago is 10. Milwaukee is doable with one
day each for driving there and back. Chicago not so much.

Looking at your schedules, who else would be interested in a summer
road trip to Milwaukee?

That might be in my time frame. We should be done with planting by

Are the Twin Cities folks aware of the planned GLQ?

i'm hoping to be back in MN slightly before the tenth, and i would
love to go and try the GLQ again. I can't guarantee on being there
right on time though.

Delayed response!!!

Many of us do want to attend. I was checking the WI Vtes Yahoo Group
and the White Wolf site, and didn't see any updates regarding the when
and where. Are there any updates?

I checked the white wolf calendar today and the qualifier is on July
24, 2010 in New Berlin Wi (suburb of Milwaukee).

I plan on checking with the twin cities people on Wednesday if they
want to attend.

Thanks for the date Pete.

I will find out from the rest of the folks (the rest being the ones who don't frequent the board) who wants to go.

Then we can look at carpooling and other aspects of the weekend.
