INTERNSHIPS IN SUSTAINABLE APPAREL

SustainU is a cutting-edge apparel company, creating collegiate apparel from 100% recycled material and bringing jobs back to the textile regions of the United States. For the 2011-2012 school year, we are initiating the One for All Campus Mobilization Project. We are recruiting student leaders at the top universities around the country to help us build a presence at each of their campuses based on one simple concept: that we can change the world by changing how we view apparel, the planet and people.

Education

The One for All Project is spreading the word on campuses everywhere about environmental and social issues in the apparel industry and the benefits of using American made, recycled apparel. Mobis help build a network of people dedicated to bringing sustainable clothing options to American universities and communities.

Action

The One for All Project will rally your campus around SustainU’s philanthropic initiatives, uniting your community and campus to get involved and give back. The oneShirt campaign is a national collegiate clothing drive mobilizing thousands of volunteers to collect, re-purpose and recycle unwanted clothing. The oneMeal campaign will organize thousands of students in hundreds of communities to promote more healthy and sustainable eating lifestyles. The oneHome initiative will educate and mobilize people to think more sustainably about where they live.

Lifestyle

More sustainable options are available when it comes to clothing and apparel. The One for All Project and SustainU promote social, environmental and economic sustainability by offering 100% recycled apparel, made inside a 200-mile radius in North Carolina. Wear the clothes, share the story, and invite others to join you. Mobis will work with students, departments, administration and local retailers in need of a more sustainable apparel option.

Your help is needed!

As the sustainability leaders on your campuses, we are hoping you may have some candidates that you would like to recommend for this mobilization project. As we continue the recruitment process, your recommendations will be quite valuable to us. If you have candidates or ideas, please contact An...@SustainUclothing.com.

Your help is much appreciated. Thank you!
