Hello everyone,

I'm wondering how we cite VSEARCH in publications? I'd appreciate any insight!

Hi Jared,

Unfortunately there is no publication on VSEARCH yet, but we are working on it.

If possible I'd recommend that you cite the GitHub repo: https://github.com/torognes/vsearch

If a DOI is needed, there is also a Zenodo repository that can be cited: http://dx.doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.16153
