When I installed visit on MAC OS X Snow leopard following questions
were asked. I just guessed the answers. Could someone verify it is
correct? We have accounts on Ranger. Thanks.

Your answers are fine. These are things that can always be changed
from within VisIt. They apply to when you are doing remote
visualization. We won't be doing this in the tutorial session--
everything will be on your local machine.

Sorry for the lack of info. These questions have to do with remote access, something that we will not be exploring this class. So your answers to the questions are not important. You can answer anything you want.
