What has been the experience with installing Hadoop on Mac OS X either
as a single node or as a local cluster?
I found this link for the Cornell lab and was going to try it, but do
not presently have a direct connection to a cluster.

I'm also interested in this question. I would like to try out twister
and hadoop at small scale at locally networked Macs (we have ~12 iMacs
and 3 Mac Pros around with similar specs) before expanding to larger
projects.
