I wanted to point out also another piece of VPN software from our group that you might be interested in using - since we're all using Google groups.
It's called SocialVPN and creates point-to-point VPN links (rather than group links) between social contacts - it integrates with Google contacts using XMPP. The virtual network overlay (IPOP) is essentially the same as GroupVPN.
