Re: Committee meetings from May 21st 2016??

Dear all Committee members of VS Cozy Apartment Owners Welfare Association 2015-16,

This is to let you all know that, the president of the association is not following the bye-laws of our association and I wanted to bring it to all your notice. I have the following points to make:-

1) I am the elected committee member for the year 2015-16 and I was holding the position of Secretary of the association. I had resigned from the roles of the Secretary due to personal reasons and my resignation was accepted by the president on 17th May 2016. I had handed over the documents to president in presence of all the committee members on 21st May 2016 so that operations of the association is not getting affected.

2) From 21st May 2016 onwards, I was not being called for any Committee meetings of the association though I was one of the elected committee members for the year 2015-16

3) There are lot of decisions being made without calling all the committee members for the meeting. I dont have even a single meeting invite for the committee meeting after 21st May 2016.

4) I had clarified all the questions raised by the auditor for the financial auditing reports for the FY 2015-16 and I made ensure that the Committee had received the final audited reports in hand.

5) I had helped the president to even send out Meeting notice for AGM which is scheduled for 28th August 2016.

6) President has not called for a meeting for the review of the audited financial reports for the year 2015-16

7) President has not called for the review of the AGM report draft with all the committee members. Is the AGM reports ready?? If so why ther is not meeting being called to review the reports by all the committee members??

8) The Financial reports and AGM reports needs to be discussed within all the committee members before presenting it in AGM

Why the president of the association is not following the bye-laws of the association and also put a committee list in the notice board without my name in the list. I had attached all these documents for all your reference and I will discuss these matters with my legal advisor and take steps as suggested. I had informed the president also about this and president has asked me go ahead for the legal steps (I am assuming that president has discussed this with all committee members and taken decision on this).

We are all living in a same place and we need to respect each individuals and follow the bye-laws that we have put together by ourselves. I am writing this to all the committee members so that every one is aware of the President decision on taking legal steps on this matter if I take legal steps against the unethical practices in Association Committee.

From 21st May onwards, I am not receiving any communications regarding committee meetings. Is there any committee meetings happening?? If I am free, I can attend if informed well in advance.

Please note that as per rules and regulations of Karnataka society's act 1960, a committee member's duration is from AGM to next AGM. If someone resigns from the position of signatory of the association does not mean that they have resigned from the committee. Hope you understand the difference.

Dear all,

Also let me know is this act of removing my name from the committee list without proper reason and informing me is the committee decision or its one person ( President) decision. I will have to include all the names in the legal proceedings whoever are involved in this. I spoke to few committee members and they are not even aware of this. This is not acceptable.

Committee members need to understand that, committee members duration is from AGM to AGM and I had resigned from the roles of Secretary and not from the Committee.

Dear all,

I spoke to 4 committee members and 3 committee members were not aware of removing one committee member from the list and one committee member not even know that she was given a different role.

What is going on here ?? We are registered association under Karnataka Societies Act and we have to follow the rules and regulations of our bye laws.

I will update my legal advisor about excluding the names of the committee members who were not aware of the new committee list displayed in notice board.

Dear all,

I saw a AGM report copy in Sugama tours where it was getting xeroxed and bonded and shocked to see the report is illegal and all the elected committee members names not present.

I am giving one more last chance to the committee members to correct the mistakes else, please be ready for the legal consequences. I am the elected committee member of the association for the FY15-16 and the report what we are presenting is for the same and names has to be the elected representatives.
