Points to be added/modified to AGM Report 2015-16

Dear all,

I went through the AGM report prepared and following data points need to be corrected and added to ensure we have correct data to report in AGM.

1) The committee list for the year 2015-16 is not correct, needs to be modified

2) Secretary report says, our association was formed in 2015, which is WRONG. We formed association in 2010.

3) The managing committee for FY15-16 was formed on 23rd August 2015 and that needs to be added

Following points to be added to the report.

General Update

• LIFT Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) renewed in January 2016
  
•  Generator service is completed in March 2016
  
•  Water tank cleaning completed twice during the year 2015-16.
  
•  Purchased 35 chairs, table, Music speaker, Serial set lights.
  
• Implemented waste segregation at source as per BBMP guidelines starting from 6^th February 2016
  

Cultural Celebrations and Social Service @ V S Cozy

V S Cozy Cultural Committee which was formed during the previous year continued its operations with full energy and support from the management committee. The Cultural committee carried out different cultural events this year:-

• Celebrated Independence day with all the residents on 15^th August 2015
  
• We have celebrated Ganesha Festival in September 2015 for 3 days (17^th September till 19^th September 2015) with list of activities including Pooja, Games for kids/elders, Singing, Rangoli competition, Lakshmi Shobane Pooja, Dance, Swimming competition, Cycling etc. This event was being organized by V S Cozy Cultural Committee with support from the executive management Committee.
  
• Celebrated “Swatchh Bharat – Swatch VS Cozy” a cleaning program and cleaned the road opposite to our apartment compound in the visitor parking area.
  
• We have celebrated Navratri (Dasara) Festival for 3 days (Pooja, Drawing competition for kids, Dhandiya, Kolatam, Singing Competition for Kids, Bollywood Dance) in October 2015 (20^th October to 23^rd October 2015)
  
• We have decorated the building with lights as part of Deepawali and distributed Sweets box to all the residents and service providers on account of Deepawali Festival Celebrations
  
• Collected Rupees Six Thousand Three hundred (Rs 6,300.00) from residents and donated medicines, candles, clothes, bedsheets, biscuits to Chennai Flood Affected people on 5^th December 2015
  
• We have celebrated Republic Day on January 26^th 2016 along with our neighboring apartments Pristina and Saptagiri.
  
• Conducted a Painting Competition for Kids on 6^th February 2016
  
• Residents of VS Cozy actively participated in Walkthon on 7^th February 2016 to support Plastic Ban in Puttenahalli.
  
• Conducted a program called “Bharat Ko Jaano” on 28^th February 2016
  
• Celebrated Holi festival on 27^th March 2016

On behalf of association management committee, we wanted to thank all V S Cozy Cultural Committee members (Miss. Anuradha – Flat #313, Mrs. Namratha – Flat #214, Mrs. Jigisha - Flat #215, Mrs. Sheetal – Flat 012, Mrs. Meera – Flat # 108, Mrs. Riya – Flat #204, Mrs. Lakshmi – Flat #106, Mrs. Varsha – Flat #306, Mrs. Swetha – Flat #305, Mrs. Preeti – Flat #209, Mrs. Kamala Hegde – Flat #105, Mr. Ramachandra – Flat #214, Mr. Asim – Flat #416), for spending their time in organizing all the cultural events @ V S Cozy.

We wanted to thank, Mrs. Jigisha (Flat #215) and Mrs. Swetha (Flat #315) for supervising the Mosquito Sprays activity in our apartment.

We wanted to thank all the residents for the support given to the management committee during our tenure. We wanted to thank our apartment supervisor, Mr. Basavraju for extending the support for the association management committee.

Also wanted to thank all the service providers, Security guards, Maruti Lifts, plumbers, Electricians for their support.

Hope the above contents helps to ensure we cover all the aspects of the committee operations for the year FY2015-16.

We dont have to report Independence day 2016 as it falls under FY16-17 and to be covered in next year AGM report.
