The official work of the Akhil Bharat Vivekananda Yuva Mahamandal is being
conducted from the ground floor of the house of one of its former Vice-Presidents Shri
Tonu Lal Paul for more than last 40 years. Although the available accommodation is not
adequate but due to locational advantage and non-availability of an alternative place, we
continued to carry on our official work from there. Of late, we have succeded in
purchasing the adjacent part of the building/land from its owners and our present
landlord and his heirs have also agreed to make a gift of the existing accommodation to
the Mahamandal. We propose to undertake a Project to construct a building / renovate
the existing building as per our requirement which will serve the purpose of our City
Office with a Guest House in Kolkata.
The above Project entails an expenditure around Rupees One Crore (approximately)
which is partly borne by the donations of our members and kind hearted patrons and
well-wishers. With a view to acquiring a part of the building/land we have already
incurred an expenditure of around Rs. 25 lakhs. In view of the huge total expenditure to
be incurred for this Project we are constrained to appeal to our valued patrons and well
wishers to come forward generously with financial help to enable us to complete the
Project.
Your kind donation for any amount will be thankfully acknowledged and it is
exempted from Income tax u/s 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Kindly send cheque /
DD in the name of AKHIL BHARAT VIVEKANANDA YUVA MAHAMANDAL and
addressed to 6/1A, Justice Manmatha Mukherjee Row, Kolkata-700009. You can also
remit your donation on line to our S.B. A/c. No. 10433835149 with State Bank of India,

immediately for sending the Money Receipt and I.T. Exemption Certificate.
