{VSC-IISc} Gentle reminder for VSC Session (9th December 2025-Tuesday)

The VSC session will be held in person and online mode today from 6.30-8.30PM at the Warden room in A block hostel(near hall above A mess, 1st floor). If you are not able to find the classroom kindly call to the number below. Anyone interested in joining the session online can use the following google meet link: https://meet.google.com/zfw-ahfa-qyp . Today we will continue the chapter from Karma Yoga lectures of Swamiji.

Meeting minutes of last class:

1. What we do is shaped by cause and effect, so real freedom isn’t found within this world of time, space, and mind. 

2. To be free, we have to let go of attachment i.e., the “I and mine” that makes us suffer. 

3. Karma-Yoga teaches working without clinging to results, doing what needs to be done but staying inwardly free. 

4. When we drop selfishness and offer all actions to something higher, we move toward true liberation beyond the limits of this universe.

5. All paths of work, love, knowledge, and meditation lead to the same goal, freedom. 

6. Everything in nature is really striving toward that freedom, and unselfishness is the way we move closer to it.

7.  We can purify ourselves through selfless action without chasing rewards. The ideal Karma-Yogi works like that.
