Practical Vedanta
Meeting minutes of last week:-
Though Bhagavan can create instantly, He manifests the world in an ordered manner, governed by Ritam (cosmic law).
All truths eternally exist, what is needed are seers who can perceive them. We should not take srutis for proving any lokik phenomenon.
Knowledge is attained through the six pramanas - pratyaksa (perception), sabda (scriptural testimony), anumana (inference), upamana (analogy), arthApatti (presumption), and anupalabdhi (non-perception).
Teachings may yield different meanings for different beings, like Prajapati’s utterance Da-
-
The Devas understood it as Dama (self-restraint),
-
The Asuras as Daya (compassion),
-
The Humans as Dana (charity).
(Practical Vedanta)
1. Progress is a journey of continuous spiritual growth, with each new truth building on the last rather than replacing it.
2. Seemingly contradictory religious views are simply different perspectives of the same underlying truth, limited by individual circumstances.
3. Religions are enduring spiritual forces, and while their external forms may change, their
fundamental truths persist and contribute to humanity's collective good.
"Science and religion will one day shake hands."
"Can we prove Karma theory Works ??"
Today, we will have a small interactive session by Bhaskar on Karma Theory
