 Greetings from Ramakrishna Mission, Delhi.

 

It is an occasion of great delight as the nation celebrates Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on completion of 75 years of independence. Our spirit of democracy from the ancient times to practicing it with some ups and downs for 75 consecutive years, gives us a hope to dream for an India in which the minimum needs of every citizen will be taken care of.

 

India being a country with the maximum youth population among the nations of the world and blessed with a very ancient civilization, has the potential to raise itself to great heights and glory. But no amount of charity can solve its problems. The solution would emerge only if our people are truly empowered.

 

Swami Vivekananda who undertook a Bharat Parikrama on foot from 1886 to 1892, seeing the miserable condition of the masses, said 'Education is the panacea of all evils'.

 

We, at the Vivekananda Youth Forum of Ramakrishna Mission, Delhi also believe that educating the masses is the best medium of empowerment. So we have undertaken an ALL INDIA Initiative (i.e. Vivek Vidya) to provide academic support to students in need mainly from economically weaker sections by giving them free tuition and guidance on various subjects. 

 

In this initiative, you as a Volunteer/teacher can conduct ONLINE classes for subjects of your choice in time of your convenience. In post pandemic time, we together can think of and start similar offline modality, wherever possible.
